Hi, I Am Silvia Nieto
Illustrator and pattern designer
I always believed that art is the expression of beauty; and beauty is a powerful weapon to transform the world, connecting with your deeper self, your yearnings and dreams.
You have a choice. You can either let the days go by or you can make every moment count. Finding meaning and experimenting. Finding beauty in places you’ve never imagined before.
A choice I make everyday to fill my real life with all the beautiful things that elevate my soul and what drives me every morning to get out of bed and continue to create illustrations.
Honing my craft to offer you a piece of my art, sending my illustrations and designs into the world, for them to connect with my clients.
Hence, if you wish to take your project to another level, reinforcing the message you wish to convey, please don’t hesitate to contact me for a consultation.
Do you want to know more about me?
– Born in Barcelona, London has been home since 2015. Many years before, London was the first destination I conquered overseas and I knew soon or later it would be my place to be.
– Motherhood gave me the motivation I need to believe in myself and start my own business. Graduated in Illustration at Escola Llotja in Barcelona, I never had the confidence to follow my career professionally. Despite my constant inner voice pushing me to continue drawing, I allowed fear to bury my passion deep within. The summer of 2017, Megan was born and, along with her, returned my hopes and dreams. I will never know whether it was the hormones that induce this drastic change or the reassurement, holding my daughter in my arms, that I could do anything if I put my mind to it. For the first time I saw clearly that it was time to make a life from my passion, to create moving illustrations for individuals and small businesses.
– Once upon a time I illustrated a children’s book, a tale about the transformation and empowerment of Duna, a woman whose life revolves around everyone’s expectations and her journey to set herself free. You can see it here
